Three environmentally friendly alternatives to bottled water, the environment should help a bit.

Use a reusable bottle

Get something like camping or bike bottle that you can fill and refill with distilled water from a tap or filtered from the cooler at work. This way you get clean, healthy, refreshing water, but you do not have to keep buying bottles (which is bad for your wallet), and you do not keep throwing them away (that which is bad for the environment). Even if you do not want a plastic bottle in your purse or briefcase or bag for half the day not just throwing the bottle away. Take the bottle and keep it for your trash (or recycle bin for your next).

Buy Eco-Friendly Bottles

There is really no such thing as a bottle at one hundred percent environmentally friendly, but there are some that are less plastic, use some that come to drink (expensive, but the glass is just sand, it is therefore safer for the environment), and others who just come in larger sizes, so you do not need to buy as many bottles of the same amount of hydration. Find the best ecological solution, if you absolutely have to buy bottles.
